BENGALURU: The Karnataka High Court has granted temporary relief to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the alleged MUDA site allotment scam by directing the trial court not to take any precipitative action based on the governor’s sanction for prosecution of Siddaramaiah in the case.
Amid this, the CM planning to meet INDI Alliance leaders during his Delhi visit to seek their support and is seeking appointments with them.
Siddaramaiah has taken the fight against the Governor’s action to the national level. He is expected to meet with top leaders of the INDI Alliance in Delhi. The CM’s plan is to get the national leaders attention to raise their voices against the Governor’s action. It is learnt that he has already sought an appointment with the national leaders during his visit to Delhi.
The CM is likely to make the national leaders understand the situation in the state and seek their support in countering the Governor’s moves. The CM has accused the governor of interfering in the state’s affairs. The CM’s move to take the fight to the national level is seen as an attempt to build pressure on the governor and the central government.
