Cake show organised at Palace Grounds ahead of Christmas

BENGALURU:A cake show has been organised at Palace Grounds like every year, ahead of Christmas. This is the 50th cake show, celebrating its golden jubilee, being organised in the city, featuring over 21 attractive cake art pieces.

 This year’s highlight is the Sri Rama Mandira weighing 850 kg, which is sure to attract visitors. Other attractions include a Chanted Christmas Tree, Dinosaur World, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, this year’s hit films displayed in a cake, and Madhuvana, among others.

The Cake Show is a popular event in Bengaluru, and this year’s edition is very special as it conveysdifferent arts and culture. From children to all age groups, visitors enjoy the cake show.

Organizer Manish, “There are 21 pieces of art in the cake show. This year, we have theme-based cakes as we are celebrating half a century. We are teaching cake makers how to bring out different forms of culture, like Madhubani and animation, when it comes to modern living. The main attraction is especially Ram Mandir. We try to show arts and we did this keeping arts in mind to attract visitors. The cake show will be open till January 1, 2025”.
