CHAMARAJANAGAR: A KSRTC bus conductor and a police constable exchanged blows following a dispute over issuing tickets at the Gundlupet bus stand on Thursday afternoon. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

While travelling from Himavad Gopalaswamy Hills to Gundlupet, the police constable Kotresh Ainal and his nephew, both purchased tickets for the journey without the knowledge of the other. A huge argument broke out with bus conductor Lokesh over issuing tickets twice.

The constable was also thrashed by the other KSRTC staff at the bus stand.

When they reached the Gundlupet bus stand, Kotresh, who is posted in Mysuru, and Lokesh engaged in fisticuffs and threw punches at each other even as other commuters and KSRTC staff attempted to break up the fight. Some of the KSRTC staff also thrashed Kotresh who can be seen in the video leaving the bus stand.

Complaints have been registered by both parties in this regard at the Gundlupet police station.
