BENGALURU: A city builder has been booked for stopping his car on a flyover and bursting firecrackers even as other vehicles were passing by, and then uploading the video on Instagram. An FIR has been registered against builder Raghavendra at the Vijayanagar traffic police station.
On July 15, Raghavendra made a video on the Shivahalli flyover on West of Chord Road. He stopped the car in the middle of the road, burst firecrackers. Raghavendra then uploaded it to his Instagram. Noticing this, someone posted the video on X and tagged the police. A complaint was made to police from an X account called ‘RC Bengaluru’ demanding action.
Based on that, police traced Raghavendra and summoned him to the station. They made him delete the video and registered a case against him under BNS Section 285 and are investigating.
