BENGALURU: A 19-year-old student, who participated in the recent NEET protest, was allegedly assaulted by four masked men, resulting in serious injury. A complaint has been filed at Jalahalli police station regarding the incident.
The youth, in his complaint, said that the masked men questioned him for demanding PM Modi’s resignation, hit him on the leg with a piece of wood, abused him in foul language and escaped. The incident occurred near BEL Circle in Jalahalli when the student was out for a walk after having dinner at night.
The student suffered serious injury to his leg in the incident. The youth is associated with a student organisation. The Jalahalli police have registered an FIR and taken up further investigation.
