BENGALURU: In a hit-and-run case, a 23-year-old man was run over by a speeding goods vehicle on the Outer Ring Road near Kammanahalli on Saturday night. The accident was captured on the dashboard camera of a car which was behind the goods vehicle
Bapi Kamar, an employee with a private firm, was returning home after work. As he was crossing the Outer Ring Road, he was run over by the speeding goods vehicle just after 11 pm. The driver did not bother to stop the vehicle and sped away.
Even as Bapi Kamar was lying dead on the road, another vehicle ran over him just a little while later. The Banaswadi traffic police are now looking through CCTV footage all along the Ring Road to identify the goods vehicle. Further investigations are on.
