BENGALURU: A car belonging to a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) joint commissioner met with an accident near the RR Nagar gate on Monday night when the officer was on his way back home.
The joint commissioner’s car collided with an oncoming car and both vehicles were badly damaged. The officer’s driver Shivashankar was subjected to an alcohol test and it ws found that he was drunk at that time.
The Byatarayanapura traffic police have booked car driver Shivashankar for drunk driving.
