CHIKKABALLAPUR: A bank manager was found hanging in a lodge in Gauribidanur on Wednesday morning. It is suspected that he may have committed suicide, but the motive was not immediately known.
D P Madhu Tej was the manager of the SBI branch at D Palya in Gauribidanur taluk and hailed from Doddaballapur. He had checked into Tejas Comforts lodged on the Gauribidanur bypass road.
When he did not come out of his room for a long time, the lodge staff informed the police who broke open the room door and found Madhu Tej hanging. His family was informed and a case of unnatural death was registered.
