BENGALURU: In continuing instances of road rage in the city, an autorickshaw driver assaulted car driver in the middle of the road near the Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Banasawadi police station limits.
The incident occurred at 2.52 pm on August 1 and was captured on the car’s dashboard camera. The footage of the fight has gone viral on social media. The viral video was tagged to Bengaluru Police. Based on the video, Banasawadi police have now launched an investigation.

Two-wheeler rider fined Rs 96,000
A two-wheeler rider had accumulated fines of Rs 96,000 for breaking traffic rules. He was fined Rs 53,000 for jumping the signal 102 times at the Wheeler Road junction in Pulakeshinagar traffic police limits and Rs 71,000 for riding without a helmet 141 times.
Other fines include jumping signals 30 times, violating no parking, one-way, and using phone while riding, eight times.
