Miscreants smash car windows for questioning them about popping wheelies in Peenya

BENGALURU: Residents of Karihobanahalli in Peenya police station limits are facing a new kind of harassment every day with miscreants popping wheelies. When questioned about it, the miscreants threw stones at a car, smashed the windows and created a ruckus.

The menace of petty rowdies has increased in Bengaluru. The accused Gani and Nanjunda allegedly smoke ganja and create trouble Karihobanahalli for no reason. When locals questioned them, the rowdies smashed a car’s windows and vandalised the vehicle on August 3. The scene of the accused vandalising was captured on CCTV.

Fed up with the accused’s actions, people filed a complaint at the police station. However, locals say that even after filing a complaint, there has been no action. The Peenya police have just registered an non-cognisable report (NCR) and washed their hands off it, they said.
