Kannada is the most transparent language with clarity and authenticity. There is excellence in art, culture and life. We should all be proud to be in this land of excellence. We have to do the work of conserving this rich culture”, Bommai concluded.

The President of the Sahitya Sammelan Doddarange Gowda invited the opponents of Sahitya Sammelana for a debate at the Parishat and threw a challange to progressive thinkers who objected to organising the Sammelana.”

My prayer for those who oppose the convention, I want to invite you to Sahitya Parishad. Opinion may be different. Let sit together and sort it out. There is a need exhibit Kannada unity and it has a significant place in world literature. It has to be taken to greater heights. Hence, writers who opposed the sammelana should come for a debate. There is no use in criticising and come to an logical end with a debate”, he challenged the Progressive thinkers.
