BENGALURU: Actor Sushma Veer has lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police and the Women’s Commission against trolls on social media. Sushma is the daughter of famous theatre personality and former Rajya Sabha member B Jayashree.

Sushma is upset after some unknown individuals trolled her, writing bad comments, after she gave an interview to a YouTube channel. According to her complaint, she was targeted by malicious online trolls who were seeking to spoil her name and reputation. “These individuals have deliberately misinterpreted and manipulated my statements during an interview conducted by director Raghuram for his YouTube channel”, she said in her complaint.

The trolls have resorted to making sexually explicit comments in vulgar language and using abusive language to humiliate her, she noted. Sushma urged the cyber police to intervene in the malicious campaign against her and  take immediate action against trolls.

Sushma Veer was also a Kannada Bigg Boss contestant and had recognised herself with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
