Actor Kiran Raj in mass look in new movie ‘Rani’

BENGALURU: The poster of the film ‘Rani’ starring actor Kiran Raj, produced under Star Creations by Chandrakant Pujari and Umesh Hegde, was released on the occasion of Ugadi festival. Kiran Raj appears in a mass look in the poster. Gurutej Shetty has penned the storyline and dialogues and also directed the movie.

In a unique promotion effort, Kiran Raj jumped from a height of 13,000 feet to releasing the title poster and received praise from the film industry and audience. The poster, with Kiran Raj in a mass look, has received appreciation from various quarters. Kiran Raj is also seen in fight scenes  and there are six stunt sequences in the film. Seven sets have been set up for the film ‘Rani’. Shooting in five sets has already been completed and 60 per cent of the shooting has already been completed, according to a statement from the filmmakers.

Ravi Shankar, Miko Nagaraj, Nagatihalli Chandrasekhar, B Suresh, Ugram Manju, Ugram Ravi, Dharmanna, Surya Kundapur, Girish Hegde, Prithviraj, Yash Shetty, Umesh, Sujay Shastri, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Sandeep Malani, Anil, Dharmendra Aras, Manmohan Rai and others are in the star cast.

Pramod Maravante, who wrote the popular song ‘Singara Siriye’, has composed four songs for this film. Manikanth Kadri has composed the music.

‘Rani’ is a sensitive and action-based film and will be released in Kannada in all theatres. The film will hit the screens in December. There are three heroines in the film. Director Gurutej Shetty said they will announce the name of female lead role in the coming days.
