MADIKERI: A young tiger was spotted on the state highway around 4:30 am on Wednesday at Kolatodu village of Virajpet taluk, causing anxiety among locals.
The tiger was seen moving in front of house of Neela who is Jagadishwara bus owner, and it is said it roamed on road for some time. Locals have requested citizens going for morning walks and two-wheeler riders to take more caution in this area.
Against background of tiger appearing on main road itself, locals have demanded that the Forest department immediately take up an operation to relocate the animal before any untoward incident occurs. Locals have requested the Forest department to trace movement of tiger and safely capture the tiger for relocation.
