BELAGAVI: In a shocking incident, a woman was garlanded with footwear and paraded by a group of women at Ghataprabha on Gokak taluk on Friday night. Some locals accused the woman of honeytrapping and blackmailing people.
In videos doing the rounds on social media, the woman, identified as Sridevi Godachi, can been seen garlanded with footwear and paraded from Mruthyunjaya Circle by a group of women.
The locals alleged that they had complained to the SP a few days ago about the woman’s alleged activities, but no action was taken. The incident occurred in Ghataprabha police limits.
