BENGALURU: A BMTC electric bus crashed into a petty beeda shop and a compound wall of a dhaba on Nagadevanahalli Road after its brakes failed on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at 6.27 am when the bus was traveling from Shirke Circle to Nagarbhavi. Fortunately, there were no pedestrians on the road at the time of the accident, or else there could have been a major tragedy. Three passengers on the bus panicked, but were safe with no injuries.
Footage from CCTV of the accident has gone viral, showing the bus crashing into the shop and wall.
