BENGALURU: A group of 50 men barged into a house in Whitefield, threatened the homeowner over a land issue, and demolished the compound wall of his house using excavators. Over 50 rowdies barged into the house of Vishal Baliga around 9.30 am on Friday, allegedly led by accused Gopal Jawahar, and damaged properties.
The gang used two JCBs to demolish the wall of the house. The miscreants not only vandalized the house, but also allegedly assaulted Vishal and his wife. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras and mobile phones by locals. The rowdies were allegedly demanding handing over of the site, which led to the clash.
A complaint has been filed by the house owner, Vishal Baliga, and an FIR has been registered against Gopal Jawahar. The police are investigating the matter. The police have assured them of taking necessary action against the culprits.
