Nandini milk to be available in Delhi from November 21, CM Siddaramaiah to launch sale

BENGALURU: Brining cheer to Kannadigas settled in Delhi, the Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) Nandini brand of milk will be available in the national capital from November 21. Nandini will be taking on brands like Amul and Mother Dairy in the Delhi market.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch the Nandini milk in Delhi on on November 21. The Delhi government and KMF have been in talks over the last 4-5 months on milk supply.

The KMF plans to send one lakh litres of milk to Delhi every day and aims to sell five lakh litres in the days ahead. Nandini milk was being sold in Delhi 29 years ago, but was suddenly stopped. Now, it is being revived again.

The KMF ventured into the Delhi market owing to the demand for Nandini milk. The brand has already established itself in the market in neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
