BENGALURU: A three-year-old boy fell to his death from a multi-storeyed building where his mother was engaged in house-keeping work in Marathalli July 3. The incident was caught on CCTV camera.
Bimala Shoud and her husband have been working as house-keeping staff and Lotus Gents PG in Marathalli for the last three months. When the parents were busy with work, the boy Riyan Shoud was playing with his father’s video.
When a relative called, the boy handed the phone to the father and was playing on the first floor balcony. He accidentally crossed over the glass partition and fell to the ground floor.
An occupant of the PG accommodation noticed the fallen boy, who was immediately shifted to a local hospital. However, the boy was referred to NIMHANS where the parents were informed that their child had died.
A case has been registered at Marathalli police station.
