BENGALURU: A two-wheeler owner from Jayanagar had accumulated Rs 1.34 lakh in fines for a total of 255 cases for violating traffic rules. The going price for his two-wheeler may be around Rs 30,000.
The traffic police started looking for the owner of the two-wheeler after a record number of traffic violation cases were booked. When they found the vehicle owner Elumalai, they fined hi m Rs 1.34 lakh.
The Jayanagar traffic police instructed him to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 at the spot and pay the remaining amount in the coming days.
