BENGALURU: The state government has warned two-wheeler riders against using half helmets, citing lack of safety. It is also planning to curb the manufacture and sale of half helmets across the state.
Transport Minister Byrathi Suresh said necessary rules will be framed soon and action will be taken against those manufacturing half helmets. He also said that the manufacture of half helmets will be banned in the state.
