BENGALURU: On the third day of the search operation for missing techie Advait Upadhyay, the police and rescuers came across a photo of him at the very peak of Shivagange Hill, clicked by trekkers. As he climbed the hill, Advait had sent a photo to his fiancée.
The search operation is being conducted by police officers and 60 personnel from Nelamangala and Dobbspet and they have already conducted a search on the right side of Shanthala Drop. On Monday they conducted a search on the left side and are making strenuous efforts to trace the missing Advait Upadhyay with the help of drones, experts and the SDRF.
Police Inspector Bharat Gowda and team have been continuously searching for Advaith for three days now around at Shivagange Hill in Nelamangala taluk. On Monday, the police team conducted searches on the left side of Shanthala Drop along with forest staff and SDRF team.
More than 50 personnel risking their lives in the search, moving through forest areas amidst steep rocky hills which are inhabited by wild animals including leopards and bears. Advait Upadhyay, a native of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, had gone trekking to Shivagange Hill in Nelamangala taluk last Friday.
Did Advait plan to commit suicide beforehand?
A laptop found at his house in Kadugodi revealed that he had done and internet search for Shanthala Drop’ also for what time can one fall and die. The AI AI showed one “can fall and die at 7.30 am following which Advait had gone near Shanthala Drop on August 4.
Advait had checked from where he could fall and die. Accordingly, Advait left for trekking on Friday morning, as per the police investigation.
