BENGALURU: A sand-laden lorry crashed into a house and overturned after the driver lost control early on Monday morning near Madanahalli in Yelahanka. Luckily, the occupants of the house were unhurt.
The driver trapped under the overturned lorry while a wall of the house was damaged after the lorry crashed into it. The sand-laden lorry was coming from the Yelahanka and it is suspected that the accident occurred as the driver was drowsy.
The trapped driver was rescued by fire department personnel and was shifted to a hospital. The overturned lorry was lifted with the help of a crane.
