BENGALURU: A woman crashed a car into an electricity pole on the footpath during a test drive near Singayyapalya bus shelter in KR Puram traffic police limits on Tuesday. While the car was damaged, there was no harm to any human life.
The woman had taken a red colour Maruti Swift Dzire car for a test drive. During the test drive, she lost control, drove on to the footpath and crashed the car into an electricity pole. Due to the impact, the front portion of the car was damaged. Fortunately, the woman escaped unharmed.

Bengaluru: A woman taking a Maruti Swift Dzire for a test drive lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a bus stop at Singayyanapalya near #Mahadevapura on Tuesday.

The bus shelter was right in front of the pole that was hit. If the pole hadn’t been there, the car could have crashed into the bus shelter. Since the incident happened during daytime, people at the bus stand were also at risk.Fortunately, a major accident was averted.
The KR Puram traffic police visited and inspected the spot. A case has been registered against the woman for negligent driving.
