CHAMARAJANAGAR: A tiger was spotted near a farm at Lakshmipura village near Ennehole in Chamarajanagar taluk, causing panic among villagers.
With the tiger being seen roaming at night in the areas around Ennehole and Lakshmipura, villagers and farmers are afraid to go to their fields and to tread on roads. This has increased anxiety among locals, and villagers are demanding that the tiger be captured.
In another incident, a cow was killed in a tiger attack at Kulagana village in Chamarajanagar taluk. The cow belonged to Chikkaranganayaka of the village.
The tiger attacked while the cow was let out for grazing. The tiger had partially eaten the cow’s body. Following the tiger attack, there is an atmosphere of panic in the village and the residents have urged the authorities to capture the tiger.
