DAVANAGERE: An 18-year-old youth died after falling into farm pond at Mysuru village in Harapanahalli taluk of Vijayanagara district. The deceased was identified as Mathihalli Basavaraj.
The youth was working at a dhaba in Kottur town. He had gone towards the farm pond when he visited his village. He fell into the farm pond located on a farmland in the village and died. A case has been registered at Harapanahalli police station.
