BENGALURU: After fake news was spread about senior actor Doddanna’s death, the senior actor has now approached the North division cyber police station and filed a complaint against miscreants.
A social media post was shared recently claiming that Doddanna is dead while he is still alive. It was edited using AI and made viral on social media. “This has caused me immense mental agony”, the actor said in his complaint. He has sought action against those who spread rumors by circulating false news.

The police have registered the case under the the IT Act and initiated investigation against unidentified persons. They are trying to trace the ID and IP address of the social media account from where it was posted and launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants.
