BENGALURU: Actor Niranjan, known for his role in the movie ‘Odeya’ alongside Darshan, was attacked with a beer bottle at a bar in Bengaluru.
The incident occurred when Niranjan confronted a person who pushed him at the bar. The attacker allegedly said, “So what if you’re a film artist? This is our world” (Neenu film artist adre nimage ayitu, idu namma duniya) and fled the scene.
Niranjan had gone to the bar near Mantri Alliance after visiting actor Yashas Surya’s house. The attackers, who arrived in a Toyota vehicle, assaulted Niranjan with a beer bottle. He has filed a complaint with the Subramanyapura police station.
