BAGALKOT: The crew of a NWKRTC bus returned a 5 gm gold chain which a woman passenger had lost on while travelling between Ilkal and Bagalkot.
The woman, Suvarna Madara, lost her chain when she was getting off the bus at Bagalkot. When she realised that it was missing, she approached the bus driver Basavaraj Nagarabeta and conductor Anand, who told them that they would hand it back after confirming that the chain was indeed hers.
Later, after confirming that the chain was Suvarna’s in the presence of the Ilkal depot manager, the staff returned it to her. According to the bus crew, another passenger had found the chain in the bus and handed it over to them.
