CHIKKAMAGALUR: A 10-year-old girl died after getting entangled in a saree she was playing with at her home at Hebballi village in Chikkamagaluru talu. The incident occurred when her parents were away.
The girl, Lekhana, was swinging on a swing fashioned from the saree, which got wrapped around her neck, causing instant death. Police have visited the scene and are investigating. The incident occurred under the Rural police station limits.
