HASSAN: Three minor students, who went missing after leaving home for school in the taluk, on Monday were traced to the Bengaluru railway station and reunited with their parents on Wednesday.

Prasanna of Soudrahalli village in Hassan taluk, Amrit from Doddabasavanahalli village and Mohan from Kittane Gadi are studying SSLC at Jnana Gurukula School. They left home for school on Monday morning and later went missing.

On Monday evening, Mohan called his mother using a mobile phone borrowed from a person at Mysuru railway station. Two missing complaints were filed at Hassan Rural police station and one at Gorur police station. Their parents were in tears due to the children going missing.

After registering the case, police searched everywhere. Today, all three students were found at Bengaluru railway station. The boys had travelled from Hassan to Mysuru on Monday and then came to Bengaluru by train. They wandered around Bengaluru, and after running out of money, they came to Bengaluru railway station.

While spending time at the railway station, railway police grew suspicious and questioned them. They were then handed over to the police. Later, police brought the three minors back to Hassan and handed them over to their parents, much to the relief of the families.
