BENGALURU: Three people died and a mother-daughter duo sustained injuries in separate accidents in the city, including a hit-and-run case.
One person, identified as Mahesh (40), died while while his wife and daughter were injured after an Audi car crashed into the cab in which the family was travelling, around 9.30 pm on Tuesday in Chikkajala traffic police limits. While Mahesh died, his wife and daughter were injured and admitted to the hospital.

The family was returning home after attending a wedding when an Audi car crashed into their cab. The Audi car driver fled after hitting them. Chikkajala traffic police visited the spot and are on the lookout for the Audi car driver.
Two motorcycle riders were killed in separate accidents under Electronics City traffic police limits on Wednesday. Arun (26), a native of Virajpet in Kodagu district died in an accident near Biocon in Hebbagodi on the Bengaluru-Hosur main road. He had come from Virajpet to his friend’s house in Hebbagodi.

While he was riding his bike, a container truck hit Arun and he died on the spot. The Electronics City traffic police took the container driver into custody.

In another accident near Hebbagodi bus stand, Ram Kishan (60), a retired soldier, died after he was knocked down by a lorry chassis. Ram Kishan was going from Iggalur to Command Hospital on a TVS Jupiter scooter. After the accident, the truck chassis driver fled leaving the vehicle behind.
Two separate cases have been registered at the Electronic City traffic police station.
