BELAGAVI: Three people died on spot in a collision between a bus and a motorcycle on the outskirts of Savadatti town in Belagavi district in Tuesday The accident occurred when the NWKRTC bus was going from Savadatti towards Dharwad.
Three men, including the bike rider, were coming from Dharwad towards Savadatti when the vehicles collided. The trio was returning after witnessing a Ganapati procession in Dharwad.
The deceased were identified as Vinod Hogennavar, Akash Jadhav and Ravi Kurubar. The Savadatti police visited the spot, registered a case and taken up further investigation.
