CHIKKABALLAPUR: A 2.4-year-old boy was kidnapped from the Murugamalla dargah in Chintamanai taluk by an aged man on November 5. The child-lifting was caught on CCTV cameras and police are on the lookout for the kidnapper.
The boy, Javed, had come to the dargah along with his parents Zamiulla and Sumaiyya of Padarayanapura in Bengaluru. The boy was kidnapped by an unidentifed man, aged around 50-55 years, when he was standing alone in a crowded spot on the dargah premises.
After realising that their child was missing, the parents lodged a complaint with the Kencharlahalli police station.The mother has pleaded with the police to trace the child at the earliest.
