“In eight months, the Save Soil movement has rolled across the world. Over 81 nations are in the process of formulating policies. In China, they have started with a soil survey, and in India, we are working with the central government and a few state governments. Many physical and mental illnesses are directly related to a lack of micronutrients in the food we eat. The quality of the food is important, and maintaining the quality of the soil is important to produce good food. The food we eat is low in nutritional value. Food should be well-nourished and nutritious. In the last 25 years, people have not eaten rich, nutritious food. It is important to save soil for our future generations”, said Sadguru, founder of the Isha Foundation.
