BALLARI: One woman sustained minor burn injuries after boiling water splashed on here when a cooker burst at a school during preparation of midday meals at Metri village in Kampli taluk on Wednesday.
Three women were in the room where midday meals were being prepared at the government higher primary school at Metri village. The women had placed tur dal in a cooker on a stove for cooking, when it suddenly burst.
One of the women, Lokamma, sustained injuries as hot water and dal fell on her while the other two escaped. Lokamma was treated at a hospital in Kampli for the injuries. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera.
