BENGALURU: A woman stabbed her husband with a knife for not giving her any gift on their wedding anniversary in Bellandur. The incident took place around 1.30 am on February 27.
The husband has fallen asleep on the day of the wedding anniversary. At this time, the wife brought a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him. The husband sustained injuries in the fingers and was rushed him to a hospital by some locals.
The police counselled the both husband and wife. During preliminary investigation, the wife revealed that the cause of her anger was that the husband had not given her any gift on their wedding anniversary.
The husband had not bought any gifts as his grandfather had died and was not in a good frame of mind. A case has been registered at Bellandur police station.
