UDUPI: A drunk man who was creating nuisance and teasing women at the government bus station in Kundapur got a taste of the lathi from a traffic police sub-inspector on Friday afternoon.
The man, who was completely sloshed, was troubling women at the bus station following which some people called up the police. Traffic SI Sudha Prabhu, who arrived at the scene, tried to put some sense into the drunkard’s head.
But, when the drunk man lunged at the police officer, she lost her cool and and hit him with a stick. She left the scene only after the drunk man sobered down a bit.
