KOPPAL: A woman who was trying to grab a seat on a bus, fell down and one of the wheels went over her left hand, at the central bus stand here. The incident occurred two days ago, but came to light only now.
Khasim Bi, a resident of Siddapura village in Karatagi taluk, rushed to board a moving bus and occupy a seat to travel from Koppal to Siddapura. In the melee, she fell down and one of the wheels of the bus went over her arm, leaving her bleeding profusely.
Some other passengers at the bus stand immediately came to Khasim Bi’s rescue and draped the arm in cloth. Khasim Bi was immediately shifted to a hospital and she is currently undergoing treatment at KIMS in Hubballi. The Koppal Town police have registered a case.
