BENGALURU: A woman was found stabbed to death and her eight-year-old by strangulated on Tuesday night in Bagalgunte police station limits.
The deceased have been identified as Navaneetha (35) and her son. Navaneetha had separated from her husband, Chandru and had been living separately for the last two years.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North division) Shiva Prakash D said, Navaneetha and her son were found dead on the bed. “Around 12 pm on Tuesday, we received a call on the 112 helpline. Based on a complaint by Navaneetha’s mother, we have registered a case”.
The DCP said Navaneetha was working in a call centre but had separated from her husband Chandru (38) two years ago. “Navaneetha was attacked with a sharp weapon and the son was strangulated. We have some suspects and we have set up a special team under an ACP and launched an investigation”, he added.
