KOLAR: A wild elephant died suspiciously on a farm on Wednesday in Nagireddypalli near V Kota in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, bordering the state.
The wild elephant had come in search of food from the forest, but was found dead on a farm suspiciously. The police rushed to the spot after learning about the incident.
The Forest Department and police are investigating the cause of the death of the wild elephant. It is suspected that the jumbo may have drank water mixed with fertiliser which is used for farming.
