Urdu teacher flees village after sexually harassing woman

The Urdu teacher was confronted by the villagers about his disturbing behaviour.

CHIKKAMAGALUR: A Urdu teacher, who was also into occult practices, has fled the village where he was staying after he was accused of sexually harassing a woman who had visited him.

Abdul Rehman, a Urdu teacher at Togarihankal village was confronted by the locals after the woman complained about his behaviour to them. According to the villagers, the woman had come from Bengaluru to meet Abdul Rehman over some personal issue when he sexually harassed her.

The woman alleged that Abdul Rehman touched her inappropriately, also wanted her to touch him and misbehaved with her. She came out of Rehman’s house and complained to the villagers who confronted him and took him to task.

Though he apologised for his behaviour to the villagers, they insisted that he should vacate the village and not continue with such behaviour anywhere else. A case has been registered at the Chikkamagalur Rural police station.
