MANDYA: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to participate in the Mahakumbh Mela to be held at the Triveni Sangam in KR Pet between October 13-16.
Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister C Narayana Gowda called on the UP CM in Lucknow on Thursday and invited him to the Mahakumbh Mela at the confluence of the Lakshmanathirtha-Hemavathi-Cauvery rivers.
“I am happy to invite UP CM @myogiadityanath to take part in the Mahakumbh Mela that will be held at Triveni Sangama from October 13 to 16. He will take part on October 16,” Narayana Gowda tweeted.
The minister presented Yogi Adityanath an invitation and a memento. The two held discussions for about half an hour wherein they also spoke about the Nath tradition.
