DAVANAGERE: Two youths died after they drowned in a swimming pool at Devaraj Urs Layout here on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Mubarak (15) and Tajuddin (16).
The incident occurred when they suffered injuries after getting into the swimming pool. The family claimed negligence on the part of the swimming pool staff and trainer, as they were not following proper precautions. The locals were vent ire at the Municipal Corporation for not taking safety measures.
A case has been registered at Basavanagar police station.
