TUMAKURU: Two men on a motorcycle were knocked down by an unidentified vehicle from behind, killing them on the spot, at Huliyurdurga on Sunday night. The deceased were identified as Amanathullah Khan (60) and Munawar of Ramanagara.
The two were on their way to Channapatna from Huliyurdurga when the accident occurred near Krishnappanakoppalu. Due to the impact, the duo was thrown on to the road and died of severe head injuries.
The Huliyurdurga police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident.
