SHIVAMOGGA: A spectator was bitten by a Rottweiler during a dog show and competition organised by a kennel club at Sagar on Sunday. The injured was identified as Sharath.

Sharath, a spectator, was viciously attacked by a Rottweiler.

During the show, a Rottweiler suddenly attacked Sharath and bit him several time on the leg. Locals quickly shifted him to a hospital where he underwent treatment. Sharath claimed that the organisers of the event were indifferent in shifting him to a hospital.

“I was at the dog show to see the different breeds. The owner of the Rottweiler, who was standing behind me, was telling some people that if he is not allowed entry, he will set the Rottweiler on the spectators when the dog suddenly attacked me”, he said.

Sharat also said the organisers did not take any responsibility though there were eight doctors present. “My family members and some other spectators shifted me to hospital. I had a three-year-old child with me, luckily the child wasn’t attacked. I will also file a complaint against the organisers and the dog owner”, he said.
