Two die after car rams tree near Challakere

CHITRADURGA: Two people died after their car rammed a roadside tree near Kurudihalli in Challakere taluk on Tuesday night. One person who sustained injuries was shifted to the district hospital in Chitradurga.

Three people were travelling in the car when the driver lost control and rammed a tree. The deceased were identified as Venkatesh (50) and Venkatesh (48) of Janenahalli in Challakere taluk. The Challakere police have registered a case.
