BAGALKOT: Two people died after a motorcycle and an autorickshaw, locally called Tumtum, collided near Nagoor Cross in Hungund taluk on Thursday night. The other injured were taken to the Hungund taluk hospital.
The deceased are Erappa Pavadagouda (45), a resident of Bevivamatti, who was travelling in the autorickshaw, and Abhishek, a resident of Bogapura in Lingsugur taluk, who was riding the motorcycle.
The Hungund police visited the spot and have registered a case.
