HASSAN: Three houses were completely burnt down after a fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit at Kanadahalli village in Alur taluk on Wednesday evening.
The houses belonging to Rajegowda, Sannappagowda, and Shanthamma from the village were destroyed in the fire, and all the belongings inside were charred. The fire caused extensive damage, including gold ornaments and cash worth several lakhs, leaving the homeowners in distress.
MLA Cement Manju visited the village and inspected the damage. During the visit, the affected families appealed to the MLA to provide appropriate compensation for the losses incurred.
