Three arrested in connection with KPSC recruitment exam malpractice in Yadgir

Two of those who were arrested for malpractice in the KPSC recruitment exam.

YADGIR: The police have arrested three people in connection with exam malpractice during the KPSC recruitment test which is being held today across the state.

One of those arrested was impersonating a candidate and indulging in malpractice using a bluetooth device at one of the exam centres here. Among those detained is Puttu of Sonna village in Afzalpur taluk of Kalaburagi village from where the kingpin of the PSI recruitment scam hailed.

 

The KPSC exam for recruitment to vacant posts in various boards and corporations is being held at 17 centres across the district and 7,884 candidates are appearing for it. Despite strict measures in place to prevent malpractice, the impersonator had managed to sneak in a bluetooth device. Yadgir Superintendent of Police G Sangeetha and other senior officials are questioning the accused.
